Southern Ontario today.

A surprise find in the corner of a photo of a different species. There were Green-winged on the pond.

I think I see white at the base of the bill on the bird at the extreme left so maybe Blue-winged?

Completely forgot about leg colour!!

Just a clarification, the blue on a Blue-winged Teal is on the upperwing wing coverts, not the speculum (secondaries). Blue-winged Teals actually have green speculums. (So their upper wing in flight has stripes of both blue and green).
