Avery
It’s a bunting, but I don’t know how to distinguish between indigo and lazuli in drab plumage

Benjamin
This is pretty clearly an Indigo Bunting, not really sure why one would suggest Lazuli over Indigo here.

Would y'all tell us what you see that supports your iDs? Thanks.
Tony Leukering
Lazuli has at least one WHITE wing bar in nearly all plumages and generally has a paler, whiter belly than does Indigo. Most individuals also sport a more-reddish or orangish cast to the chest 1
