Tony Leukering Posted October 21, 2020 Share Posted October 21, 2020 The birds are wearing feathers from two different generations of plumage, the smooth, fresh gray basic feathering and worn, faded bits of either first basic plumage (= juvenile plumage) or alternate plumage, I'm not really sure which. I'd like to know if someone has a good clue about this.
