It's been a while since I've visited the site. How's everyone?

Right now, exhausted!  I woke up at 5:45 to go birding with my mom and dad, walked 4.5 miles in 5 hours......thankfully got almost a hour long nap.  But we had 69 species with 20, yes 20 species of warblers!!  Migration at it's finest!  Here is a link to our list: https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S56137532

The other day though we had 10 (!) Baltimore Orioles in our back trees.

Oh yeah, and about a week ago, I stepped on a nail in Crocs while trying to help re-roof our chicken coop.......yeah, that was fun. ?  It just broke the skin a bit between my big toe and the first one to the left. (Where a thong for a flip flop goes) (My left foot) Didn't need a tetanus shot because I had just had one in 2018.  Almost completely healed now, can barely tell.

It took me a year into my birding career to find a Song Sparrow. I was both excited and disappointed. Took me a year and a half to get a Northern Pintail. Still waiting for multiple common sparrow species, a Purple Finch, and every MO vireo except for Red-eyed. If anyone knows anywhere in Missouri for vireos, please tell me...
