What's discord, yet another discussion site?

It's a modern chat website, it's geared towards gamers who wanted a website where they could voice chat while gaming, but now it's turned into basically a forum host where people can create "servers" and chat in them like in a text message.

Yeah, I'm homeschooled too.

The discord wasn't my cup of tea, so I'm still here.

Yeah, it's quite a bit different. I personally like Whatbird better, but it hasn't been the same since the crash.

I have a feeling it’ll never be the same. Not fully, anyway.

It's still much better than any other forum I've found on the subject.  I'm social media-adverse, so I can't compare it to general purpose sites like Facebook, etc.

So I may or may not have made my school computer background this picture I took of some American Avocets not long ago.

You mean you're not sure, or are you attempting to deny responsibility?

"Might you or might you not have violated school policy on personalizing their systems?", asked this network administrator who has several hundred bird photos rotating on his desktop every 30 minutes.

Hahahaha! But no, I didn’t violate any codes that I know of. My school’s system doesn’t have eBird blocked, so I took a screenshot of the picture and bam! It’s my background.

Had a pretty cool day today! A friend texted to say there was a Black-bellied Plover at a nearby Reservoir so I checked that out (I don't know why it's sideways):

Then on the way back I checked out Twin Falls Park and got to hear and sort of see one of our wintering Pacific Wren! Super neat.
