Thanks! I am happy to represent our state on this thread and so happy to be here.

😛Completely randomly ran into him

Well......sort of..........I loved looking at his photos on ebird and would kind of stalk him to see if he added any new ones all the time. At the event the people in charge had a list of names and who was riding in each car. I saw his name on the list and had to find out if it was him because I new he lived in the area. So we ended up having a conversation and I *casually* said I had another birding friend. He was like "wait, you're into birds too?" (And then we talked about birds for the rest of the day)😉so yep random. 😂 Actually I never really told this to him. I only said a bit of it.

8:30am and -16C / 3F right now here in the Waterloo Region of Ontario . A few degrees warmer than yesterdays low of -21C / -6F.....Brrrr.... No new snow yet and not really much on the ground but more is on the way.

I took the first cell phone photo from the open front door yesterday morning. Notice that there was very little snow on the ground, not even covering the grass or plowed field on either side of the driveway...The second photo was taken from the open back door just after 9am this morning while the snow is still coming down pretty good. I know we aren't getting it as bad as some others, so I hope everyone stays safe and warm.

I'm getting photos from my parents in Toronto showing the dump of snow they got. There's a drift in their driveway up to the windows on one side of their car.

I had 122 notifications when I logged on just now. @Seanbirds you reacted to 90 things of mine! In six hours!

I had a few more than that, but that was all from him.

I had something similar! Just seeing that number had me like “Oh no what did I do…” 😂

After all the weather conversations on this thread you may have noticed that all us Canadians are able to understand your weird temperature scale in addition to Celsius. Found a great example of why today when shopping:
