Unless it is really cold...it's usually so cold in the winter here not pulling up your hood is getting frostbite on your ears. I do try not to wear black, but I doubt I'd ever be considered threatening. Generally people have been friendly.

I don't think I am going birding today.:classic_unsure: To cold. Last Christmas was about 55f and sunny. It has not been under 35ff during the day in over a year and a half.

It was 53 at midnight, 43 at sunrise, with rain and a little sleet, turning to all snow, then ending. It has been sunny for a few hours. It hit 33 just after 10 am, and 23 at 1:30 pm (an hour ago). It is supposed to go down to 9 or 10 overnight. The wind chill temperatures are in the 0s and low & mid teens right now.
