Whatbird's Young Birders!

You don't have a couple egg layers? We have about 30 chickens, 8 turkeys, and a guinea. Every spring and winter we get a batch of 36 meat chickens. In the summer we get about a dozen eggs a day, and sell them for $4 a dozen. The turkeys usually have about 10 chicks, and we butcher the toms. The guinea was a free bird, and is a great alarm system!

Going on a string of chases tomorrow. Targets include:

1. a LONG continuing Ferruginous Hawk , with possibilities of fun RTHAs.
2. Gull roost where Laughing, Thayer’s, and California Gull have been reported.
3. Snow x Greater White-fronted Goose

4. Long-tailed Ducks, don’t really need them for any lists other than year/county, I more just like seeing them.
