Seen today at Loess Bluffs NWR, in NW Missouri.  Are these Glossy Ibis or White-faced Ibis?  I noticed in the first pic, the bird's eye appears green, but in the 2nd pic the eye appears red with a reddish area ahead of the eye too.  Is one perhaps an adult and the other immature?

#1 is a juvenile, and until and unless such birds get red eyes, they're not IDable in the field, as far as I'm aware. I'd be happier with bird #2 being a pure White-faced if it had more color on the legs. Hybrids (and back-crosses) between these species are not rare.
