RobinHood
Southern Georgian Bay two days ago. Common Loons are regular visitors here but someone tentatively spotted a Pacific, fairly rare for here and still under review. This bird does not appear to have the really chunky, silver coloured bill that I am used to and apparently juvenile Pacifics do not always have a chinstrap. Anyone with experience of Pacifics - what feeling do you get for the overall appearance? Thanks
JamesM
Looks like a common loon with non-breeding plumage.
