Quiscalus quiscula
They are HARD to draw! I need to color mine in now, I might try paint. Probably will be finished tomorrow.

Probably will be finished tomorrow. I first tried colored pencil on black paper, but didn't like the result. My entry is acrylic paint on Strathmore acrylic paper - linen finish. I had never used it be for but it seems nice.

Quiscalus quiscula
I finally finished my Redstart Drawing! This is of a first year male. First time using paints for birds, so it was sort of a gamble. Colors may have faded out a bit in the picture, especially the yellow.

Quiscalus quiscula
@HamRHead Since no one has posted their drawings yet, (and I've been a bit busy), maybe consider a deadline extension?

HamRHead
Phew, you scared me. I completely forgot about it. If I blow through the deadline, let me know. We can extend it if necessary.
Quiscalus quiscula
I had fun drawing this stunner! It's the state bird of New York ?. Can't wait to see everyone else's entries!
Sialia sialis
A few coincidences occurred recently: 1. I took a very grainy, distant photo of a cute bluebird perched on the side of a tree, in the fog. (See profile pic.) 2. The next bird to draw happened to be the Eastern Bluebird. 3. I joined Whatbird with Sialia sialis as my username. Therefore... I just had to draw one and enter it! Maybe it's cheating a bit because I don't have to draw a tail or feet... but... here it is!

Haha, my guess is probably not, although I didn't create this thread. There may be some guidelines back at the beginning. Nice job, by the way. What program are using?
