Tanager 101
Okay I just finished painting mine. I did it in water-thinnable oil paint on canvas. It took about 4 to 6 hours I think (I am guessing because I didn't paint straight through. I will upload a photo onto here tomorrow, so count me in!

Awesome! Can't wait to see it. I'd love to know how water-mixable oils compares to acrylics and regular oils. Do they still have a strong odor?

Water-mixables are great! I would highly suggest them. They don't have a strong odor. I have only been able to smell them at least enough to notice a lot on a couple occasions. (well I mean unless you sniff the tube.) It is basically oil paint that thins with water so easy clean up and less chemicals.
Tanager 101
Okay here's mine. Not the best photo of it, the actual painting looks a lot better. I did actually change it a bit after I took this photo of it. I removed the white circles in the back round and signed my name. But yeah this is my painting for Hoodie. Maybe I should take a better photo. The black looks really bad because of the way the light is reflecting off of it. I really feel like I’m cheating with this digital art stuff. It’s too easy! It’s a combination of: the right app + the right technique + the right photo.
