Jim Highberger 3
Observed Nov. 3 in Galveston pond. Initially thought these were Gadwalls - then possibly ring necked (but no white stripe around bill). Finally thought I had better consult with the experts. What do you think? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
Aaron 442
Think this might be a Cinnamon teal.... unsure though
Avery 725
Pretty sure these are teal. I would lean cinnamon at least for the first one.
von Humboldt 45
The 1st.does appear to have a very large bill which would indicate cinnamon but is all of that bill or is there vegetative matter making it look big>
Tony Leukering 2,289
Blue-winged in first pic (obvious pale area between bill and eyes) and Green-winged (left) and Blue-winged in the other pix.
Jim Highberger 3
Thank you to all - I should have looked at Teals more closely on this - did not expect them in such a small pond. Thanks again!
