The photo was taken in early May.  I guess it could be an early fledgling but I would expect only adults in my yard at that time of year.  I think any pale appearance is due to the lighting.

I think I'm seeing a flesh/yellow colored gape, so it's probably an immature bird.

Boy, great pick, @IKLland.  These little suckers are notoriously challenging subjects.  I have a couple shots that are technically better but this one is the most fun.
