When you edit, do you have to outline the bird to get it to sharpen just the bird, and then blur the background? Or is it just a few sliders? Ok, so with a DSLR, if the background is at least a little far away, it will already be blurred, so I’m not sure what you mean by “ then blur the background”. I do outline the bird and apply sharpening only to the bird, so it doesn’t increase any noise in the background.
