I’ve basically given up photographing them n flight with my camera, so the only time I’ve seen them perched, it had to be like a mile away.....even though they’re probably the most common swallow here.

Unfortunately, they’re quite rare here. Only in winter they live here, and they’re uncommon then. I must try to find one this summer when I head up to Yosemite( if theyLive there in the summer🤔)
