cccougar
I posted this on some birding Facebook sites certain this is a Brown Thrasher but someone responded it’s a Hermit Thrush. Help please. Thank you!
The Bird Nuts
It's a Hermit Thrush. Brown Thrashers are larger and longer with longer tails, longer and thicker bills, white wingbars, and yellow eyes. 2

Agreed, and Brown Thrasher's are streaked rather than spotted below.

And a more reddish brown that the Hermit's grayish brown. Hermie is an interesting bird to show up at a feeder. I've had feeders in SC for almost 20 years and have never had one near them. I get Brownies all summer. I'm a bit jealous Edited November 30, 2020 by Charlie Spencer
cccougar
Yes Charlie I know what you mean. I see the Brown Thrashers all the time here in North Charleston. So I just assumed that was one at my feeder. Surprised to learn this is the Hermit Thrush, which I’ve only photographed once before in Tennessee. Tony Leukering
Brown Thrasher has yellow eyes; longer, more-curved bill; long tail; darker legs; black streaking extending much farther below; white wing bars; shorter primary projection; and lack eye rings.
