Ms M
Hello everyone, I hope someone here can help identify this little bird that has stumped me and my internet searches since 2013! I saw it in one of the more thicker-wooded areas of Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY during late September. Forgive the blurry shot, but it was so quick and small. I saw it darting through the branches quite low to the ground, just a flash of yellow and blueish-gray. I don't recall it making any sounds. Does anyone know what it is? cvanbosk
It's the yellow on the SIDES of the tail that is the dead giveaway for American Redstart. Edited December 17, 2020 by cvanbosk
