aveschapinas Posted December 25, 2020 Share Posted December 25, 2020 I agree. Social flycatchers are smaller than Great Kiskadees and have smaller bills. Great Kiskadees have reddish tones on the wings and tail. Voice is also very different so worth a listen before you go into their territory. I've heard both vocalize and also seen both not vocalizing, so I don't think that's a consistent trait for ID.
