Guess the Bird Drawing!

Recommended Posts

Hello, this is a new Bird Drawing Challenge (since you guys loved the last one) This time, 1 person will do a black and white picture of a bird, and not say what it is. (If it shows what bird species it is, crop it out of the picture). You guys have to guess what bird that I (or someone else) drew. The first person to get it right gets to draw the next bird picture. It has to be a bird in North America.

Ok, I will go first. The first person to get it right gets to draw the next bird.

Red - breasted Nuthatch is correct! ? Now, you can draw the next one that we have to guess ?

Thanks. I'll try to put one up this evening. And a personal question if you don't mind: Are you left-handed? I'm just curious because I'm right-handed and I find it easier to draw birds, animals, cars, and airplanes facing left. You're nuthatch is facing right. Just a weird theory. Feel free to ignore.

I’m left handed, and I draw almost everything facing right.

Weird, I’m also left handed and though I don’t draw much anymore, most of my doodles I make when taking notes face right.  Looking back at freeform drawings I made when younger, they also mostly face right. Never noticed that before.
Of course, when using a reference photo, the drawing will always match the same direction.
