Aidan B 528
As I was looking for a Hummingbird to post on the hummingbird thread, I looked at this Hummingbird, which I had assumed was a Rufous when I saw it for several days in the middle of march, and noticed it was very green backed for a rufous. As I just started looking at it, I noticed I saw it was seen almost a month earlier than most Rufous move into my area, as they usually appear around mid April. By this point I was wondering if it was Allen's, so I just looked at my photos and I have a few showing the what I hope is enough of tail spread. My question is, is this Allen's? Here are the photos.
