Hello, Forum! I was in the South Meadow of Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx, NYC when I spotted these sea ducks. I know the little guys are Ruddy ducks for sure, but the bigger black ones? Are they Scaups or Goldeneyes or something else? As always, your knowledge and help is greatly appreciated. Thank you and hope you're having a happy new year so far.

I agree. I didn’t look closely for a lesser, b it since they are sleeping head shape is useful. Mostly greater, and the rest are ruddy ducks.
