If grebes count? There is no 'good' or 'not good'. It's birding, not vaccinations.
Avery
I’m not as interested in County Birding (yet). I’m more into just getting lifers and seeing birds I like. 157/268 for the county 22/30 for warblers 13/15 Sparrows (if that includes Dickcissel) 22/33 for waterfowl

If grebes count? Yes to towhees and juncos counting for sparrows. It's counting everything in the family Passerellidae No to grebes in the "waterfowl" count. It's counting everything in the family Anatidae (ducks, geese, and swans) Edited January 27, 2021 by neilpa

lonesome55dove
My count is always going to be low as I only count birds that I have a photo of. About 80% of my total birds have been sighted/photographed from my own yard. My count for Klickitat County, WA. 138/295 County 8/14 Warblers 13/20 Sparrows 8/37 Waterfowl
