Here's a few recent additions:

Grasshopper Sparrow: https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/346586661

Eastern Whip-poor-will: https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/346586801

And yes, that is what you think it is at the end of the Whip recording ?. The group  was with were all (somewhat) stifling laughter as one member of the party tried to do their recording notes. Luckily, the perpetrator was a good sport and Macauley may now have its first non-vocal sound for a Homo Sapiens!

Go to top RIRA audio, then click more. It’s probably number 10 now. It’s by Jonah Benningfield. It was the top o audio for about a year, but some people brought it down.

Thanks. Gave it a 3 for copious background, or should I say foreground noise ?

This is really subtle and I don't know if you can hear it without having been there, but this House Finch really sounded like it was singing along with a Bewick's Wren in the next tree. It was incorporating descending notes in a specific way reminiscent of the wren. This is my only recording that somewhat gets this across.
