Here's a few recent additions:

Grasshopper Sparrow: https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/346586661

Eastern Whip-poor-will: https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/346586801

And yes, that is what you think it is at the end of the Whip recording 😉. The group  was with were all (somewhat) stifling laughter as one member of the party tried to do their recording notes. Luckily, the perpetrator was a good sport and Macauley may now have its first non-vocal sound for a Homo Sapiens!

Dude now you have me curious 😂 can I search it on eBird?

Go to top RIRA audio, then click more. It’s probably number 10 now. It’s by Jonah Benningfield. It was the top o audio for about a year, but some people brought it down.

Thanks. Gave it a 3 for copious background, or should I say foreground noise 😂

I don’t hear it.

Well, he’ll be glad it doesn’t draw too much attention 😂 it’s a fart. The whip was far away so we had the gain up on our various devices.

This is really subtle and I don't know if you can hear it without having been there, but this House Finch really sounded like it was singing along with a Bewick's Wren in the next tree. It was incorporating descending notes in a specific way reminiscent of the wren. This is my only recording that somewhat gets this across.
