Aidan B
I cant seem to decide if this a hybrid or a normal Red-breasted Sapsucker. The white line below the eye, (Does that have a Name?) seems to not have much red in it. Thanks for the help!

Hasan
It's certainly Red-breasted-ish, but considering both the facial patterning and the weird back patterning it's unclear enough that (as a non-west-coast birder), I would probably leave it as sapsucker sp. just to be safe.
AlexHenry
It has a black breast shield which is probably the strongest indicator of Red-based genes, so it could be a hybrid, but it’s hard to say for sure... I think it’s a little ambiguous and could be passed off as “just” a red-breasted

Tony Leukering
I suggest the Red-naped/Red-breasted entry, but I am hampered by my little experience with RBSA. However, I can certainly rule out pure RNSA. ?
