No. Flooded farmer’s fields create marsh and mudflats all around my house. Shorebirds regularly stop by.

chipperatl
We have a potentially nice shorebird spot shaping up. Earliest eBird record for the state of a Solitary Sandpiper showed up there 3/31, along with both Yellowlegs and high counts of Wilson’s Snipe (17). lonestranger
The Juncos are still hanging around here. *sigh* Wish I had some new arrivals to report but it looks like the other birds are waiting until the Juncos leave before they show up. Aaron
I saw a Red-winged black bird at the ponds across from my house a few days ago which was the FOY for the city, but haven’t seen it since. Hoping to find it tomorrow morning. The robin numbers are definitely increasing and I should start seeing flocks of 100 soon, and the crows have more or less replaced the ravens. The gulls have ventured out away from the river as I’ve started to see them near my house. Lots of other people are seeing lots of shorebirds and other migrants around, but I haven’t seen anything too exciting yet. Some ponds are ice free now, but of course they’re the ones behind the construction fence so hope I’m not missing anything! And I guess the Harris’s sparrow is still hanging around.
