Gadwall, yes. Note the gray head and body. Also the white underwing coverts, and the white patch in the secondaries (pretty obvious if the upperwing is seen in flight, though tough to see from below - will include the photo with a red arrow pointing to the white secondary patch, a great field mark for flying Gadwalls of both sexes).
