I think it's immature, but I get a little confused with the technical distinctions between "juvenile" and "immature." AlexHenry Posted March 22, 2021 Share Posted March 22, 2021 Red-tailed Hawks have juvenile plumage then molt directly to adult plumage (brown tail then red tail).
