Jerry Friedman
By popular demand, this thread is for your pictures of arthropods: insects, spiders, scorpions, crayfish, crabs... ID discussion is welcome (unless the administrators object). I've gotten a lot of IDs at BugGuide. Semiperiodical cicada, Platypedia sp. On my friend Mara's hand. God's Child
Now this, this will be interesting. I have also gotten a ton of IDs on Bugguide. Quite the useful website. This fine specimen is a Lesser Meadow Katydid sp. (Conocephalus sp.) They were literally everywhere last mid-late summer. I couldn't walk through the grass without a dozen of them hopping away.
Aidan B
I too have gotten quiet a few ID's from Bugguide, but it's been a while since I've posted anything on there. Here's a Pipevine Swallowtail from yesterday, they're everywhere right now.

Clip
Spiny Orb Weaver our Florida Backyard found shortly after we moved to Florida in October 2018. I have seen many of these since then. Cool looking Spiders!

chipperatl
I almost only post non-birds to INaturalist now as that AI for identification makes it a little easier. I think I have a few on BugGuide. Edited March 23, 2021 by chipperatl

I can't tell whether it's a robber fly, but I'm far from an expert. (That gorgeous first picture has to be a robber, though, right?)
lonestranger
I have all kinds of bug photos but I'll start with one of my creepiest, a bug with bugs.
lonestranger
One of my sharpest bee photos. Edit: So much for my sharpness comment.
