When my mom was weeding a few summers ago, she dug up a cocoon? underground chrysalis? and we thought it was different than the Tomato Hornworm ones we sometimes find. So we kept it in my mom’s classroom for the kids to see, and I guess it thought it was spring so it hatched that January. It escaped in the classroom and laid eggs everywhere, luckily there was nothing to fertilize them. But what a beauty! I don’t like the fuzzy legs though... not a fan of big spiders...

I think it’s a Polyphemus moth

Don’t know what these are. I take pics of cool bugs, but I usually just use Seek to ID them. Forgot what they were.

Pretty sure that butterfly is a Silver-spotted Skipper.  Here's one that has just laid an egg (circled) on my sock.

Banded or Sycamore Tussock Moth (looks like it's on a sycamore leaf, so probably the latter) and Silver-spotted Skipper. ?

Love the Mohawk on it! Oh, are these Eastern Cottontails? They are all over our neighborhood.
Looking at 3 right now as I listen for Timberdoodles
