psweet Posted July 3, 2018 Share Posted July 3, 2018 The second bird is indeed a Chipping Sparrow. The head's tilted -- what appears like it could be an eye is some ruffled feathers at the bottom of the auriculars. The dark line goes through the eye, with the white supercilium just above that.
