Shaari
This bird was black, with green feet, a white smallish curved beak, red eyes, close together. Sort of shaped like a bowling pin, about 18" tall. I saw it wandering on the beach, between the ocean's edge and the dunes. No idea what it was. anyone know? neilpa
Before reading the 18" tall bowling pin description I was thinking American Coot. That size/shape throws a curve ball here
