Western / Least Sandpiper ?

Taken on 2021-04-25 on the Los Angeles River near Glendale Narrows Riverwalk, Glendale, CA.

I'm not good at distinguishing Least from Western without a clear view of the legs.  The one with a leg visible has algae on it.

I'd say Least given how brown they are, but I'm not great at separating them without leg color either.

These are Western. Note the long droopy bill, reddish color around the head, and black legs, as seen on the rightmost bird.

Least — Note lack of obvious red in upper scapulars, overall brown plumage, pale braces, and the greenish-yellow legs on right bird

Least have a droopy bill too.
