Hasan
Hi everyone, here's a fun challenge- try to name every species that you hear in this audio clip. Huge props if you can name every single species- there's 11 in total, as far as I can tell. Be careful- there's a mimid singing! Central Illinois, April 27. If anyone wants the full spectrogram, that's available here: mystery.WAV
Avery
I’ve got 8, though I’m not entirely sure on all of them. Some of the chips are hard.
Connor Cochrane
We used to have a topic like this. @Averymight be able to find it. I don’t know much about eastern calls, but I hear Cardinal, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Brown Thrasher?. That ends where I’m pretty confident. I thought I heard a Swainson’s Thrush on my first listen through, but didn’t hear it a second time. There are a lot of Warbler chips I just don’t know. I think I might have heard a WTSP call but I couldn’t see it in the spectrogram.

It could just be Thrasher, but it doesn't sound as full and Fox sparrow-like as I remember Brown Thrasher being.
