REFEM
Hi all, Can someone please help me ID this bird? I hiked today in Linville Gorge in the mountains of Western North Carolina and saw a number of these beautiful yellow birds. I am thinking Yellow Warbler, but am not seeing the red lines underneath. I see a lot of people posting photos of Protonotary Warblers from Western NC but am thinking the black lines underneath are not indicative. The longshot is the Paririe Warbler. I apologize my camera is not the greatest but would really be very grateful for some expert help. In addition to these beauties, I saw a lot of Black and White Warblers and some Dark-Eyed Juncos too. Thanks in advance RF
Hasan
Prairie Warbler. Listen for their song which is an ascending buzzy series. It's hard to miss Edited May 2, 2021 by Hasan
