Pair of Swainson's Hawks

These birds of prey were taking time out to preen themselves while winds ruffled their feathers.  It was difficult to catch them facing me but I managed this by taking a frame from my video below.  

Not certain if they were a mating pair or mother-juvenile pair.  The one on the left looks to be the same as the one here last year.

Taken at 2000mm focal length with a Nikon P950 on 4 May near Cheyenne, Wyoming.  A video of this can be viewed at:
