The last posted pic is an error/duplication.  It is also correctly posted under "Immature European Starling".  I'm not sure why this website does this at times.

I need guidance on how to ID on this pic.  I can ID the obvious BHCO. i.e., when his brown head is obvious.  But how do you go about it with a pic like this one?

The bill in the first photo tells you all you need to know to ID the bird.

Both of those species have been seen previously in this county in years past and also this year and Shiny at that particular site, so would you recommend reporting as "Cowbird sp."?

Definitely Brown-headed Cowbird, as you can see the brown head if you look closely in the first photo.

Maybe with your young eyes!  🙂 Thank you for the ID.  Actually, yes, I do see it, but in the 2nd photo.
