Hi, I saw two Savannah Sparrows this morning (Vancouver, BC), but I'm now second guessing. I think everything about them is right for Savannah: right timing to show up here, small bill, yellow supercilium, black eye line, white belly with fine streaking above, shortish notched tail. But looking again at the terrible pictures I took for ID purposes, the malar is showing as the same colour as the supercilium, and I'm wondering if I've misidentified something I don't know as something I'm familiar with. If you see something here that's not a SAVS [huh, that's a weird one] please let me know.
