As far as I know, almost every adult White-throated is one or the other morph--except your "one or the other" photo, which was interesting.  And they're equally common.  I don't see a point to being able to post any photo of a White-throated adult in this thread.  Maybe it should just be rare morphs and aberrant plumages.  But what do other people think?

And, of course, hybrids and intergrades.  Intergrade Yellow-rump, Rio Arriba Co., N.M., and Oregon x Slate-colored Dark-eyed Junco, ditto.

Brewster's Warbler

Why isn’t this just a GW x BW? The only evidence of Hybridization I see is yellow wing bars. I would expect to see some gray for a Brewsters.

Yeah, you’re right, thanks for the clarification! I’d never dealt with warbler hybrids before, and got that messed up.

This one is high on my rare morphs/variations bucket list!

Sadly, I think it is high on a lot of hunters lists too. I chased this Wigeon when it showed up in Colorado. I had heard of them and had wanted to see one so when the opportunity came...

Then there is this duck...Found this one in Adams County, CO but I'm not sure what it is a mix of. Perhaps some of the folks here can help with that.

American Wigeon x Mallard would be my guess

Why not just a molting male Indigo? I usually see a couple every year that look like this.

Good question! I believe I came to Whatbird.com for the id. The photo was taken in a place known to have both species and I had the same hybrid there as well in prior years.
