Taylorjane
This bird showed up in my yard today and at first I thought it was a Pine Siskin because they had been here the last couple weeks, but it was twice the size of a siskin. It also was very skittish, and did not know how to get to any of my feeders unlike other birds who have been here this spring. Any help with an ID would be greatly appreciated! Taylorjane
Thank you both! I had thought of a House Finch but it looked to have a yellowish tinge to it's belly, so that was a little confusing...

The yellow tinge is a reflection of whatever is below it.
