I guess on first glance it didn't appear undoubtedly long-winged to me in the way that BASAs often do. That being said, I concur that it's too long-winged for LESA. AlexHenry Posted June 15, 2021 Share Posted June 15, 2021 The primaries barely project past the tertial tips just a tiny bit, the legs are yellow, and the bird is smaller than the nearby Western Sandpiper. Bird-Boys Posted August 18, 2021 Author Share Posted August 18, 2021 I hate to bring up an old topic, but I thought that I would share that I sent this bird off to Kevin Zimmer, and he said he thought it was probably a Least, although the angle of the picture was less than optimal.
