sbruenjes
I saw this bird today at a park in Northern New Jersey. I thought it was a mockingbird when I saw it at first, but now I'm thinking yellow billed cuckoo? I've never seen a cuckoo before, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Birding Boy
Absolutely Yellow-billed Cuckoo! A mockingbird would never have solid brown plumage like that, nor the bicolored bill. 7
Peromyscus
Yellow-billed Cuckoo, for sure. A mockingbird would also not be snowy white on the underparts Edited June 23, 2021 by Peromyscus 4

Quiscalus quiscula
Yellow-billed cuckoo for sure. A lucky sighting, as usually cuckoos are quite secretive. 2
