Connor Cochrane
We're half way through the year, which normally means it's starting to hit the point where it's becoming a lot harder to add new species to the year list. I feel like there is probably going to be more variation in this compared to a normal year, as different parts of the country have been opening up at different times, which means some people might have not been able to Chase as many birds as others. Note: This is a ABA year list only.
Birding Boy
I am still missing several common migrants here in Michigan, we had a weird spring. But, I should be getting my drivers permit soon before fall migration, so I have hopes of going over 300, with no out of state birding trips planned for the rest of the year.
Connor Cochrane
Currently I'm at 363 in the ABA (625 in the World). 95% of that comes from California (I'm at 342 in the state), the rest comes from my 2 hours birding in Texas where I picked up some common eastern birds. I'm more focused on my Marin County year list, but I know I should hit 400 in the ABA this year. I'm doing my annual trip to visit family in Montana later this year, and I think I'm visiting more family in Florida in the winter, so 400 should be easy for the rest of the year. What'll be interesting is what I end up getting in Marin County, my goal was 300, but we had a bad spring, so I'm not sure I'm going to be able to make it unless we somehow have a great fall. Only time will tell.

floraphile
184. That's more than I've ever gotten in a whole year, and more than half my Lifers! Now that I have become a real birder, I don't like Summer anymore. ?
IKLland
Since I started birding in November 2020, most species on my life list are on the year list, as this is basically my first year birding. For example, my year list is 192, while my life list is 196. Next year there will probably be more of a difference.

floraphile
It was going great until we hit July. My daily checklists are still pretty heavy in species, but I've not had a Lifer yet this month, while in all of the preceding months of the current year, I had 2-10 Lifers each month. 1
