That's sound rough! Heal fast so that you can go birding soon!

Calm down folks! It's not THAT bad!? I have stepped on mesquite thorns that were worse than this! I will be rope swinging like normal , this afternoon, although the biathlon(triathlon without bikes) and the ongoing game of tag will not be happening.

Let’s go! I’ll be going to Oklahoma, Colorado, and Arkansas later this year, so I should be able to make it to 200.

I’ll race also! My life list is 199, and my year list is 195. ?

I’ll be heading to Tahoe and Yosemite in a few weeks, so....

I'll take it too. I'm at 173 currently but in 10 days I'm going to Germany and then after about 2 weeks there, a road trip up the France/Belgium/Netherlands coastline so I'll probably get there first.

Have an awesome trip! That sounds fun!

It's going to be close. I've got a trip to Michigan in a week and at 184 after today.

Which part of Michigan just out of curiosity? Should be a few decent shorebirds coming through by then.

Mostly Oscoda County and a bit of metro Detroit. Other than Kirtland's Warbler I haven't done any scouting of eBird hotspots/targets.

Oscoda is pretty good for Kirtland's, there still should be some singing. And around the metro Detroit Area, Belle Isle is pretty much the only place worth visiting. Can have some decent waterfowl and shorebirds, but I'm not sure if that's true yet this year.

Hit 204 for the year today, guess I win ?
