It was cloudy, windy and cool today in South Central Oklahoma but did get this one that I liked.

I have a weakness for head on shots of "spectacle" birds, they tend to look quite grumpy.

Blue-headed Vireo is not that common in my location so any photo, even if not the best, is fine.

I've never seen a black-crowned night-heron in WA before.  Canada and Oregon yes - but this is a first!

This was in eastern WA about 150 miles or so east.  But,  I did report it on eBird.

yeah, I got a Violet-green Swallow "head on" but it looked more cute than grumpy!
