Ruby-crowned Kinglets - another of my favourite birds.

They just seem to ignore you and go about their business - this one almost landed on me, definitely less than social distancing requirements, so I had to back away and change my lens focus settings, but still too close.

I was biking yesterday and birding, when I found these owlets. I wish I had brought my 600mm lens, but I couldn't bring it because I was on a 35 mile bike doing 2600 feet of elevation

I went birding on Sunday, and I finally got a good luck at a little yellow bird I've seen glimpses of before.  Apparently it was a Common Yellowthroat.  I think yellow birds are my favorite, so this was a joy to see.  Still, the name was a bit of a surprise: if it's so common, why have I so rarely seen them?  Does anyone here have a favorite bird color?
