Share Your Best Photo of the Day

Message added by aveschapinas,

Folks: it's not OK to take other people's photos to edit and re-post. Just like we don't correct each other's spelling and grammar, we don't take it upon ourselves to decide that someone's photo needs correction. In addition, as has been emphasized before, you need to respect copyright.

This was one of many failed attempts to swallow this fish (too many photos!!). When the Merganser finally managed to get it down the hatch it turned its back on me - you win some, you lose some.

Awesome shot! Did it manage to ever swallow it? I'd be shocked if it managed to swallow such a spiny fish!

After numerous attempts over a five minute period or so and quite a bit of real estate it finally managed to swallow the fish. I have the shot from the rear as it went down but with no fish visible. I picked this photo just because it had the Hoodies in the background for additional interest.

You may want to find a different method of sharing your photos, @IKLland. While I will click on a link once in a while to see a photo, it's not something I do for every link posted. If all your photos are on the other end of a link that I'm not going to click on, then I won't be seeing any of your photos. I suspect that I am not the only one who isn't clicking on your links, many members have previously expressed their reluctance to click on links. There are many methods to load photos so they're visible in the forum, if you want more people to see your photos, I suggest you post more than just a link that many people will ignore without even giving it a second thought.

Ok, thanks so much for your input. I will stop doing that, but there is  attachment limit and I am almost halfway through it so I don’t want to not be able to post images anymore.
