Nice shot! It seems like the invasives always want to pose nicely when I have a camera but not the native stuff...

I didn't think this one was that good, but but got 35 five stars on ebird.

I thought this one from the same checklist was much better, but it only got 3 ratings.

The eBird community is weird sometimes.

Not the best image I got today, but I like his pose. Looking very regal way up on a spruce, yet so tiny. The sky was also very blue

This is why I’d like a better zoom lens... Nevertheless, this is the first look I’ve gotten of a Meadowlark that lasted longer than 5 seconds. And my first photo of one, too.
