Yup! The Grosbeaks were super tame, and the waxwings were eating snow to sober up! Robins were drinking water where they could find it, but most of them let me walk right up to them!

This was shot with my Sony mobile app (for my A7II)  and a vintage 28mm Minolta lens from about 1-1/2 foot away. I love the color that this lens gives, manual focus is hit & miss and I just missed the sweet spot or should the bird never quite got to the sweet spot.....Mojave Desert

I think that’s a Ruddy ground dove with the black on the wing and the unscaled breast, as well as the pale tips on the greater coverts.
